Pay: £90-£110 per day (depending on experience)

?? The Role:

As a Science Technician, you'll play a key role in supporting the smooth running of the science department. Responsibilities typically include:

• Preparing and setting up equipment for practical lessons in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics

• Ensuring all materials and chemicals are stored and used safely

• Assisting with the maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment

• Managing stock levels and ordering supplies when needed

• Supporting teachers during practical sessions and promoting health & safety best practices

?? What We're Looking For:

• Previous experience in a school science department or similar lab-based role

• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

• Understanding of lab safety procedures and COSHH regulations

• A proactive and reliable team player

• Confidence with handling scientific equipment and chemicals

?? Desirable (but not essential):

• A background or qualification in Science (A-Level, BSc, etc.)

• Experience using stock or lab management systems

• Knowledge of the secondary science curriculum
