We are seeking a Payroll Assistant for a 6-month fixed-term contract within the Life Science industry. This role involves supporting payroll processes and ensuring accurate and timely payments are made to company employees.

Description
- Process payroll data accurately and efficiently in compliance with company policies.
- Assist in preparing payroll reports and maintaining records.
- Ensure the timely distribution of payslips and resolving payroll-related queries.
- Support the reconciliation of payroll accounts and adjustments when required.
- Collaborate with the finance team to ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
- Provide administrative support for payroll audits and reviews.
- Monitor and update employee payroll information in the system.
- Handle sensitive data with confidentiality and integrity.
Profile
- Previous experience in a payroll or accounting role.
- Strong knowledge of payroll systems and related procedures.
- Attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
- Proficiency in relevant software, such as Excel and payroll systems.
- The ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
