QC Technician

• Annual Salary: Up to £25,300
• Location: Merseyside
• Hours: Monday to Thursday, 1pm-10pm

We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for an experienced QC Technician to join a well-established manufacturing company on the Wirral. This role offers a competitive salary, a great benefits package, and a four-day working week.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Conduct incoming goods quality inspection and finished product quality control.
• Perform chemical analysis of raw materials and product concentrates.
• Ensure all quality-related documentation, such as Batch Manufacturing Records (BMRs), is completed accurately and to deadlines.
• Report quality control issues to the Production and Quality Assurance teams.
• Manage the segregation of non-conforming items and recommend and ensure corrective action is taken where appropriate.
• Competently handle calibration, verification, and monitoring of measuring devices within a laboratory setting.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Previous experience within a QC laboratory is essential.
• Knowledge of testing packaging, componentry, raw materials, and blend analysis prior to use in production, as well as regular in-line sampling of finished products.
• Familiarity with producing certificates of analysis and certificates of conformance.
• Meticulous approach to work and highly organised.
