Our client based in Woking are seeking a Grounds Operative, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and efficiency of waste management processes as well gardening and painting of the site. This role requires someone with experience in a similar role, and you must be available immediately to start!

Duties:

• Sort different waste materials into appropriate areas for recycling and disposal
• Liaise with waste collection points to coordinate waste management
• Unblock bin chutes in a timely manner
• Complete the cleaning cycle of the bin chute
• Utilise jet washing equipment to clean and maintain the paving areas
• Maintain and care for garden areas, including planting, watering, pruning, grass cutting and weeding
• Perform painting tasks, including preparing surfaces, mixing paints, and applying coatings to various surfaces
• Report any maintenance or repair needs
• Management of complaints/problems/issues arising

Requirements:

• Previous experience in waste management, cleaning, painting, gardening, or a related field
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions accurately
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Familiarity with cleaning techniques and equipment
• Ability to operate jet washing equipment would be advantageous
