Our client, a leading engineering and maintenance provider, is currently seeking a Procurement Administrator to join their team in Southampton. Operating across multiple sectors including chemical & petrochemical, nuclear, oil & gas, and more, our client enhances asset efficiency, availability, and cost-effectiveness through their extensive experience in both offshore and onshore facilities. Key Responsibilities:
- Working within company procurement processes
- Gathering quotes for site requests
- Raising orders utilising company systems
- Receiving orders and distributing them to the requester
- Recording holdings on site
- Administrating inventory of materials and equipment
- Requesting repairs for equipment from approved vendors
- Administrating Asset Register
- Administrating hire log
- Consolidating weekly Goods Receipting requirements
- Continually seeking improvements and savings on purchases and equipment on site
Job Requirements:
- Core expertise in administration
- Proficiency in procurement processes
- Experience in buying and vendor management
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficiency in relevant software and systems
- Experience in inventory management is advantageous
