CAD Technician - Staffordshire - Competitive Salary - Hybrid work

They are seeking an ambitious CAD Electrical Technician to join their Nuclear team, primarily working to assist with CAD Electrical work. The CAD Electrical Technician will perform CAD tasks, including As-builts, drawing modifications, and conversions from .PDFs or TIFFs, requiring a solid understanding of control systems and circuits. They will primarily be designing circuit boards for control panels. The CAD Technician will also be responsible fordesigning electrical hardware systems, site surveying, and supporting testing and commissioning. Travel within the UK and flexible working hours are required.
Essential Requirements of the CAD Electrical Technician:

Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical.

Ability to design and modify instrument loop and control circuit drawings.

Familiarity with electrical panels containing Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and/or Distributed Control Systems (DCS).

Knowledge of Motor Control Centres, motor control gear, instrumentation, and compliance with IEC BS EN 60439-1 standards.

Strong understanding of control, electrical, and instrumentation circuits.

Capability to develop technical solutions that meet project and customer expectations.
