What will I be doing?

You will be responsible for contributing to the safe, environmentally compliant, effective and efficient operation of the Energy from Waste facility’s Tipping Hall. This will primarily include mixing / feeding waste within the Tipping Hall and Tipping Hall management, working to maximize plant output, through:

• Coordinating waste deliveries vehicles and traffic management within the tipping hall.
• Conducting and coordinating the removal of waste residues (Bottom Ash)
• Maintaining the operational function of the mobile plant by conducting mobile plant inspections, checks and analysis with prompt operational fault diagnosis and rectification, as directed by the shift operations teams.
• You'll promote a safety conscious attitude, through safe systems of work and accurate and timely reporting of incidents.

Working pattern is a 42.5 hour work week, Mon - Fri, 8am-5pm, with a 30-minute lunch break.

What are the requirements?

Ideally having worked in an energy from waste or similar facility, you must be able to demonstrate relevant operational experience in an industrial environment, and have:

• An applicable mobile plant qualification & prior experience.
• A good approach and knowledge of health and safety, ideally holding IOSH or similar.
• Computer literacy and knowledge of basic software packages (Word, excel etc.).
• A valid driving licence for this role.
