Responsibilities of the Health and Safety Officer:

As the Health and Safety Officer you will be involved in developing, monitoring and implementing the Health and Safety Management System throughout the business and ensure compliance with the relevant Health and Safety Regulations. Kingspan Insulation operate an Integrated Management System(IMS) to the following ISO standards, 37301, 50,000, 45001, 14001 & 9001.

You will ensure coordination of services in relation to all health and safety matters, making sure that risk assessments are operational, reviewed, and managed. You will review incidents related to health and safety and ensure the implementation and monitoring of recommendations. 

What we are looking for in our Health and Safety Officer:

You will have:

• A professional qualification within the health & safety field
• Excellent oral and written communication skills? 
• Ability to establish and work towards achieving targets? 
• Excellent organisational and strong workload prioritization skills? 
• Experience of working with various IT programs i.e. MS Word, Excel?

Whilst not essential, the following would be of benefit:

• A professional qualification within the environmental field (Introduction to Waste Legislation and Compliance)? 
• A professional qualification within the teacher/ training field 
• A professional qualification within the internal auditing field 
• Previous experience working in a similar role
• Experience of working with and understanding ISO and SHE legislation?
