Job Title: Electroplating Technician
Location: Hythe, Kent
Salary: £25,350 / £12.50 per hour
Hours: Monday to Thursday 8am - 5pm and Friday 8am- 1pm
Our Client:
Is a leading manufacturing and supplier of components for multiple industries. They offer a 360 degree service from design support, prototyping, assembly to the testing of finished products.

Key responsibilities within your new role would be to:
- Analysis and monitoring of chemical solutions.
- Putting visual controls in place and managing them.
- Being responsible for the Effluent Plant process sampling and analysis.
- Monitor all plating activities and the effluent plant.
- Be responsible for the planning of plating activities.
- Identify and resolve plating related problems.
- Carry out and review risk assessments.
- Operate and monitor electroplating equipment.
- Apply metal coatings (such as nickel, chrome, or gold) to various components.
- Prepare components for plating by cleaning, degreasing, and masking.
- Adjust concentrations and temperatures.
- Inspect plated components for defects such as thickness, coverage, and finish quality.
- Maintain accurate records of plating processes.
Experience and skills required for this position:
- Previous experience of electroplating.
- Understanding of electroplating principles and chemical handling.
- Keen attention to detail.
- The ability to problem solve.
- The ability to perform repetitive tasks and stand for long periods of time.
