Job Title: Laboratory Technician
Location: Burton Latimer
Remuneration: £13.94 per hour
Contract Details: Temp To Perm
Are you passionate about ensuring high standards of quality and food safety? Our client, a leader in the industry, is seeking a Laboratory Technician to join their committed team. In this role, you will play an important part in executing controls on raw materials, semi-finished products, and finished products to detect non-conformities. If you have a background in laboratory techniques, physico-chemical analyses, and microbiological analyses, then this could be the opportunity for you!
Responsibilities:
Perform quality controls according to fixed methods and procedures.
Take samples in the production area and prepare them in the lab.
Process analysis results and report any non-conformities to the QC-Manager.
Calibrate instruments and ensure reliable and accurate analysis results.
Conduct sensorial analyses and participate in taste panels.
Maintain order and tidiness in the lab and related areas.
Collaborate closely with the Quality Manager, Laboratory Team Leader, and production functions.
Skills:
Strong laboratory techniques and physico-chemical analysis knowledge.
Familiarity with microbiological analyses.
Proficiency in software such as Excel and Word.
Previous experience in a laboratory environment desirable.
