This role as Production Operative is joining a world leading chemical plant at an exciting time for growth, this role will go permanent after 6 months. Overtime is available and paid at 1.5x or 2.0x the rate depending on the shift.  There is a canteen on site and all uniform is provided including safety shoes.

Working in a busy department, as Production Operative you will be responsible for:

• Working on specialist machines – full training will be given.
• Working efficiently and effectively to fault find and resolve issues.
• Operating a fill and machines.
• Undertaking all production tasks as required.
• Ensuring all products are handled with care.

• Previous experience working within a manufacturing or production style role.
• Ability to follow strict procedures.
• Have good attention to detail and take pride in your work.
• A proactive nature and be a good communicator.
• Be flexible in your approach.
• Own transport is required due to the location of the company.

This role requires you to work various shift pattens of 12hours days and nights 6am – 6pm / 6pm – 6am. Similar to a 4 on 4 off.

In return you will receive a pay rate of £17.69 per hour, enhanced pension is available once you become permanent.
