Term Time: 35 hours per week
THE POST - Assistant Simulation Technician
The post holder will be responsible for assisting students and staff in clinical skills practical classes, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment. You will also be involved in the preparation of materials and equipment for clinical skills simulated practice as directed, as well as cleaning and checking equipment after classes.
In addition, you may be required to provide technical support on campus in the absence of the Technician within Health (G4). There may also be occasions where assistance is needed on other campuses.
The successful candidate should have the following:
- Education to HNC level in a relevant subject area or with equivalent experience in a similar role demonstrated through relevant and practical work experience in Healthcare or HEI.
- Experience of supporting clinical skills education in an FE or HE environment or Relevant experience in a hospital/community social care environment.
- Demonstrable experience of managing a broad-ranging workload with challenging and competing deadlines and delivering to agreed timescales, evident in a similar role.
