Key Responsibilities
• Lead the formulation, development, and testing of new adhesive and coating products.
• Perform research to improve existing product performance, durability, and sustainability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, and quality control, to ensure product feasibility.
• Conduct hands-on experiments and analysis, developing prototypes to test product concepts.
• Stay abreast of the latest industry trends, materials, and technologies to inform product development.
• Document research findings, write technical reports, and contribute to patents or publications.
• Provide technical support to customers and internal teams during product implementation.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience (3+ years) in adhesive or coatings formulation and development.
• Strong understanding of polymers, resins, and other materials used in adhesives and coatings.
• Proficient in analytical techniques (e.g., rheology, spectroscopy, thermal analysis).
• Experience with scale-up processes and manufacturing integration is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills for reporting technical results and collaborating with diverse teams.
