Health & Life Sciences - Division of Sport & Exercise
THE POST -Technician (Sport)
We are seeking a dynamic and passionate individual to join our Sports Technical Team in the School of Health and Life Sciences. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for carrying out a variety of operational tasks that require specialised expertise, particularly in the field of Sport & Exercise Sciences. Your role will play a crucial role in supporting the school's learning, teaching, research, and enterprise activities. In addition to our main campus, you will also have the opportunity to work at other locations, including Emirates, Jock Stein, and Ayr Campus.
The successful candidate should have the following:
- Educated to HND level in a relevant subject area or with equivalent experience in a similar role demonstrated through relevant and practical work experience
- Experience of working in sport specialist laboratory facilities
- Practical experience in Sport & Exercise Sciences
- Experience of working with relevant processes, systems and procedures
- Demonstrable experience of managing a broad-ranging workload with challenging and competing deadlines and delivering to agreed timescales, evident in a similar role
- Experience of working collaboratively as part of a diverse and complex team
