Are you a Chemical or Mechanical Engineering graduate with knowledge of Fluid Dynamics looking for a varied and technical role within a multimillion pound company, where you will be able to develop your technical skills as you progress your career, learning within a specialist field?

This company established themselves in the 1970's, and have since seen rapid growth, having taken on multimillion pound projects in the last few years, and they are now market leaders, designing and manufacturing Rotary Compressors for the Oil & Gas among other industries. Due to the upcoming retirement of one of their team members, they are looking for a Proposals Engineer to add to their team.

This is a client facing role, where you will have a varied work life as you assess incoming enquiries, devise quotes for Compressor Packages. You will calculate costs and selling prices as well as select materials. You will be involved in supporting Bid Documents and liaising with clients. You will build on your technical foundation, as you receive training in a specialist area.

This role would suit a Graduate Chemical or Mechanical Engineer for a varied and technical role in a company with global reach, excellent training, progression and development opportunities.

The Role:

• Liaise with clients throughout the process, attending conferences.
• Perform calculations, assess incoming enquiries, estimate costs and selling prices and support bid documents.
• Select materials for machine construction.

The Person:

• Degree in Mechanical / Chemical engineering.
• Commutable to Stonehouse, Gloucester.
