PROJECT MANAGER (LEADERSHIP TEAM)
Full time, permanent role
Starting salary £94,000 plus benefits
Dragon LNG has a fantastic opportunity for a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our organisation as a key member of the Company Leadership Team.
This is a new position at Dragon, and we are looking for an individual who can drive strategic change and deliver impactful projects effectively, helping to shape the future of our organisation and advancing our journey towards net zero.
The role responsibilities will include:
- Leading projects across for the organisation, ensuring alignment with the strategic objectives from post feasibility / scoping onwards.
- Ensuring sufficient budget and resources are available to deliver project activities.
- Liaising closely with the Engineering Manager in the identification and feasibility of projects and developing and executing project strategies accordingly.
- Liaising with the Head of Commercial on business development opportunities.
- Ensuring project activities comply with relevant legislation, codes, standards and company policy.
- Ensuring adherence to the company Management of Change process for all projects.
Identifying and mitigating project risks to ensure smooth execution and minimal disruption to terminal operations. - Overseeing projects that minimise redundancy in equipment and optimise asset utilisation.
- Supporting the organisation decarbonisation strategy by integrating sustainable solutions and low-carbon technologies into projects.
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational performance, safety, and compliance.
- Engaging and collaborating with internal stakeholders across the organisation.
- Engaging and collaborating with external stakeholders, contractors, and regulatory bodies.
- Providing leadership to project teams, coaching and mentoring to foster a high-performance culture.

The successful candidate will ideally have:
- Degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in project management in the energy industry, or industry sector.
- Demonstrated experience in managing complex infrastructure projects.
Professional certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent. - Strong understanding of hydrocarbon terminal operations, reliability engineering, and asset management.
- Proven ability to manage project budgets, schedules, and stakeholder expectations effectively.
- Demonstrable leadership skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
