Are you ready to take your pharmacy career further in a role that offers variety, challenge, and the chance to make a real difference to patient care? Our client's forward-thinking Hospital Pharmacy Services team is looking for a motivated Rotational Pharmacy Technician to join us on a beautiful island.

Why This Role?

This isn't your standard pharmacy technician job. As part of a structured rotational programme, you'll gain experience across the full range of hospital pharmacy services, from dispensary to aseptic manufacturing, medicines management, and even radiopharmacy. No two days will be the same.

What You'll Do

Deliver safe, accurate, and timely dispensary services for inpatients, outpatients, and clinics.
Support medicines management on wards, working closely with pharmacists, nurses, and patients to ensure the best use of medicines.
Train in specialist technical services including aseptic preparation, cytotoxic dispensing, and radiopharmacy.
Play a hands-on role in stock management, ensuring safe and efficient use of medicines across the hospital.
Supervise and mentor junior staff, pharmacy assistants, and students.

What's In It for You?

A unique rotational programme across all areas of hospital pharmacy. You'll build wide-ranging skills and broaden your clinical, technical, and managerial experience. This prepares you for specialist or senior roles, opening doors for your future career.

Involvement in advanced services like aseptic manufacturing and radiopharmacy. Few pharmacy technician roles offer this depth of exposure. You'll gain niche skills that make you highly sought-after in the profession.

A strong culture of professional development and training. Access to CPD, post-registration qualifications, and ACT/Medicines Management training. You'll stay at the cutting edge of practice, supported to achieve your career goals.

Work as part of a friendly, multi-disciplinary team. You'll collaborate with doctors, nurses, and allied health professionals across the health service. You'll feel valued as a key player in patient care, not just behind the scenes.

Life on a stunning island. Short commutes, beautiful beaches, and an excellent quality of life. A better work-life balance in a safe, welcoming community.

Who We're Looking For

GPhC-registered Pharmacy Technician (BTech/NVQ3 or equivalent).
UK hospital experience in dispensary, technical services, or radiopharmacy.
Strong organisational skills, accuracy, and attention to detail.
A team player who can also work independently.
Committed to CPD and willing to train/mentor others.

Desirable extras: ACT or medicines management qualification, aseptic experience, or leadership skills.

Why Join?

  • Band 5 pay: £15.67 - £20.29/hour (£30,566 - £39,560/year).

  • Outside IR35
  • Support for further qualifications and specialisms.

  • A varied, challenging, and rewarding role with real impact on patient care.

  • The chance to live and work in one of the most beautiful places in the British Isles.
