Administrator – Powder Coating Team
This role plays a vital part in the smooth operation of our clients powder coating facility. As Administrator, you will be the central point of communication between our customers, sales team, management, and factory spray team, ensuring all orders are accurately processed and completed in line with customer requirements. Based in the Grays office, you will help coordinate workflows, manage queries, and support the production process to ensure a high level of service and efficiency throughout the business.
Location: Grays, Essex
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 4:30pm
Type: Office-based, Full Time
Salary: £26,000 - £28,000 (DOE)
We are currently seeking a highly organised and proactive Administrator to join our busy powder coating operation in Grays. This is a key role acting as the link between our customers, sales team, management, and factory spray team to ensure orders are delivered accurately and on time.
Key Responsibilities
- Liaising between clients and the factory spray team to ensure items are coated in line with customer orders and specifications
- Processing and checking orders for accuracy before release to production
- Handling customer queries professionally and efficiently via phone and email
- Communicating closely with sales teams and management regarding order status, changes, and priorities
- Updating internal systems and maintaining accurate records
- Supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the office and production workflow
About You
- Strong administrative and organisational skills
- Confident communicator with the ability to liaise at all levels
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, production-led manufacturing environment
- Previous experience within a manufacturing environment is required for this role.
