About the Role:
We’re seeking an experienced Alloy Wheel Technician to join a busy, professional bodyshop specialising in high-quality vehicle repairs and refinishing. You’ll be responsible for refurbishing alloy wheels to the highest cosmetic and structural standards, working with both diamond-cut and painted finishes.
This role suits someone with great attention to detail, technical precision, and pride in delivering excellent results every time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect, repair, and refurbish alloy wheels (painted and diamond-cut)
- Prepare wheels for painting, powder coating, or machining
- Operate CNC diamond-cutting machinery (training can be provided)
- Colour match and apply primers, paints, and lacquers
- Ensure all work meets quality and safety standards
- Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean working environment
Requirements:
- Minimum 3–4 years’ experience as an Alloy Wheel Technician in a UK bodyshop or refurbishment centre
- Strong knowledge of wheel preparation, painting, and finishing techniques
- Experience with diamond cutting machinery preferred (not essential)
- Must complete a 3–4 hour trial/skills test before hire
- Must have your own tools
- No sponsorship provided – applicants must have the right to work in the UK

- Salary: £30,000 – £42,000 per annum (depending on experience)
