Assembly Technician

Location: Bad Homburg, Germany

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled Assembly Technician to join a dynamic team at a newly established manufacturing site. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a hands-on, regulated environment and is excited to contribute to the production of innovative, high-quality products.
Working within a clean and organized facility, the Assembly Technician will be responsible for testing and calibrating circuit boards and assemblies, identifying and repairing defects, and ensuring each component meets rigorous quality standards. The successful candidate will be joining a collaborative team focused on continuous improvement, precision, and excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Follow detailed written procedures and verbal instructions to test and calibrate electronic assemblies.
  • Operate a variety of test equipment including digital voltmeters, oscilloscopes, frequency counters, and power supplies.
  • Read and interpret schematic diagrams to identify and resolve faults or non-conformities.
  • Replace or repair defective components and ensure restored functionality.
  • Record and report findings accurately; maintain both electronic and physical documentation.
  • Support return testing and servicing of components received from customers.

What You'll Need:

  • Associate Degree in Electronic Systems Technology or equivalent.
  • A solid understanding of analog and digital electronics fundamentals.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing setting is preferred.
  • A background in medical devices, life sciences, or automotive is highly desirable-provided it's within a regulated manufacturing environment.
  • Strong attention to detail, dexterity, and ability to perform precise tasks.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in German.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic computer skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
