JOB OVERVIEW

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Cambridge NeuroWorks Accelerator Cohort Administrator who has strong organisational and administrative skills and proven experience in project administration or coordination within the healthtech or life sciences sector.

Working as a Cambridge NeuroWorks Accelerator Cohort Administrator you will be required to work effectively with other Activation Partners ensuring the Fellow is supported with key components of the Acourse relevant to advancing their technology.

As a Cambridge NeuroWorks Accelerator Cohort Administrator you will be responsible for coordinating programme activities, managing logistics, and helping ensure a seamless experience for participating Fellows and stakeholders.

DUTIES

Your duties as a Cambridge NeuroWorks Accelerator Cohort Administrator will include:

  • Provide day-to-day coordination of the neurotechnology accelerator cohort, ensuring all programme activities are delivered smoothly and on schedule
  • Act as a key point of contact for Fellows, participants, mentors, and partners— facilitating effective communication and collaboration
  • Support the development and delivery of workshops, events, and follow-up mentoring sessions for the neurotech accelerator strand
  • Assist in tracking progress and outcomes of participating ventures, maintaining accurate records and reports
  • Help build and maintain strong relationships with a wide range of stakeholders across academia, industry, and investment
  • Contribute to the design and evolution of the programme, bringing ideas to improve efficiency, engagement, and impact
  • Providing appropriate and timely project reporting, invoicing and financial controls as required by the Fellowship Operations team. Scheduling A@B taught sessions, booking meeting rooms, organising papers, contracts and invoices as required

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

  • Relevant undergraduate degree in the life sciences or other qualification with an equivalent combination of relevant experience, education and training
  • PRINCE2 (or equivalent project management qualification) (Desirable)
  • Proven experience in project administration or coordination within the healthtech or life sciences sector
  • Experience working within multi-stakeholder environments, such as academic industry partnerships, innovation programmes, or collaborative research projects
  • Project Management experience
  • Event planning and coordination experience
  • Experience of coordinating contracts and invoices
  • Coordinating collaborative research programmes that span academia and industry (Desirable)
  • Experience of undertaking scientific research (Desirable)
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders, internally and externally
  • A proactive, adaptable mindset with a passion for delivering real-world patient benefit and economic impact
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
  • Can work under pressure and to tight timelines
  • Approachable, friendly, helpful and supportive team player
  • Ability to work proactively and on own initiative
  • Ability to work across a matrix management structure
  • Use of Microsoft word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and other packages
  • Familiarity with neurotechnology, neuroscience, or related disciplines
  • Able to demonstrate company values (passion, teamwork, customer focus, commercial awareness and continuous improvement)
  • Knowledge of translational research within the life science and biotechnology sector (Desirable)
  • Knowledge of business development and creation of value from academic research (Desirable)
