Graduate Chemical Engineering Technician

Milton Park, Didcot

4 on / 4 off shifts (days & nights)

£16.27 per hour

6-month contract permanent

Reed Engineering are working with a high-tech R&D and manufacturing company based in Milton Park, offering an excellent entry-level opportunity for Chemical Engineering (or related STEM) graduates.

The Role

You’ll support the production of a specialist material in a controlled manufacturing environment, working closely with experienced shift leads.

  • Assist with process operations using gases (including hazardous materials)
  • Weigh powders, load reactors and production equipment
  • Follow SOPs, safety procedures and PPE requirements
  • Carry out hands-on, physical tasks
  • Accurately record process data (temperature, moisture, etc.)

  • Chemical Engineering, Chemistry or Materials graduates
  • Candidates with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Those happy working shifts in a manufacturing setting
  • Strong communicators who enjoy practical, team-based work
