I am seeking a reliable and detail-focused Chemical Operative to join the production team at a busy manufacturing site. The role involves carrying out packing operations for chemical products while ensuring high standards of accuracy, safety, quality, and productivity are maintained at all times.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who is looking to kick start their career in a chemical company or has experience working in a chemical production environment.

This role is based in West Yorkshire and is a full time, on-site role. The working hours are 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 7am to 3pm.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out packing operations efficiently

• Handle products in line with quality, environmental, and health & safety procedures

• Operate production equipment and support minor maintenance and cleaning activities

• Maintain accurate production and operational records

• Monitor equipment performance and report or address issues promptly

What We're Looking For

• BSc Chemistry or A-level Chemistry

• Reasonable level of physical fitness

• Ability to concentrate during repetitive tasks and respond quickly to issues

• Awareness of health and safety requirements when working with chemicals

• Must have full right to work in the UK - Sponsorship is not available for this role

Pay & Benefits

• Salary: £26,500 - £28,000 per annum
