The Recruitment Co are recruitng for a Permanent Chemical Production Operative / Counterbalance FLT Driver.

Ideally candidates will have experience working within a chemical environment.

Job Purpose:

Will be working on a higher tier COMAH site under strict Health and Safety rules. Duties will include but are not exclusive too:

* Loading and offloading of bulk tankers of various hazards.
* Packing chemicals off into IBC's, drums and kegs.
* Labelling packaging.
* Housekeeping.

The Person:

To perform their role effectively, the Ancillary Production Operator must be able to follow instructions and be aware of hazards onsite and to wear the correct PPE.
Applicants Must have a good comprehension of English and Maths.
Applicants Must have a RTITB Counterbalance FLT license.

The Salary is £24,270 per annum
5 Days a week Monday to Friday 9am-5:30pm, however this might move to shift work, so candidates need to be flexible. Shift work would be 6am-6pm with an average of 40 hours per week, and shift allowance would be paid.
