Science Technician - Chemistry Graduate | South West London
Location: South West London (Schools across Richmond, Kingston, Wandsworth, Merton)
Start Date: ASAP / September Start
Contract: Full-time / Part-time | Term-time
Salary: Competitive (Dependent on experience)
Are you a Chemistry graduate looking to gain hands-on experience in school science labs? We are working with a number of schools in South West London seeking a motivated Science Technician to support their Chemistry and broader science departments.
Key Responsibilities

Prepare materials, chemicals, and equipment for Chemistry lessons and practical experiments

Support teachers during laboratory demonstrations and practical activities

Maintain, clean, and safely store lab equipment

Ensure compliance with health & safety, COSHH, and CLEAPSS regulations

Monitor and manage stock levels of chemicals and consumables

Assist with record-keeping, lab organisation, and classroom setup
The Ideal Candidate

Degree in Chemistry or related science subject

Strong understanding of laboratory safety and practical chemistry

Organised, reliable, and able to work independently or as part of a team

Passionate about inspiring young people in science

Previous school or lab experience is a plus but not essential
