CNC Miller (Programmer / Operator / Setter)
Location: Near Didcot, Oxfordshire
Salary: Up to £21 per hour

This full-time role offers the chance to work with state-of-the-art CNC technology in a range of high-precision industries such as Medical, Nuclear, and Semi-Conductor.

CNC Miller Responsibilities

• Program, set up, and operate CNC Milling Machines, ensuring processes are safe and efficient.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings for programming, setting, and manufacturing to deliver right-first-time products.
• Create layout sheets to document tooling, setups, and machine parameters, enabling consistent and repeatable outcomes for yourself and others.
• Maintain high standards of work independently, meeting deadlines and self-verifying the quality of work using a variety of measuring tools.
• Assist and train other operators, sharing your expertise and skills.

CNC Miller Profile

• A time-served apprenticeship is preferred but not essential.
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in programming and operating 3, 4, and 5 Axis CNC machines.
• Proficient in Heidenhain controls; additional experience with Fanuc controls is an advantage.
• Familiar with operating Doosan, Matsuura, and Mazak machines.
• Able to produce parts to tight tolerances, around 20?m.
• Experience milling large parts (up to 2.5m).

Salary & Benefits

• Competitive hourly rate of up to £21 per hour.
• Full-time role (39 hours per week).
