CNC Miller (Programmer / Operator / Setter)
Location: Near Didcot, Oxfordshire
Salary: Up to £21 per hour

This full-time role offers the chance to work with state-of-the-art CNC technology in a range of high-precision industries such as Medical, Nuclear, and Semi-Conductor.
CNC Miller Responsibilities
- Program, set up, and operate CNC Milling Machines, ensuring processes are safe and efficient.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings for programming, setting, and manufacturing to deliver right-first-time products.
- Create layout sheets to document tooling, setups, and machine parameters, enabling consistent and repeatable outcomes for yourself and others.
- Maintain high standards of work independently, meeting deadlines and self-verifying the quality of work using a variety of measuring tools.
- Assist and train other operators, sharing your expertise and skills.
CNC Miller Profile
- A time-served apprenticeship is preferred but not essential.
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in programming and operating 3, 4, and 5 Axis CNC machines.
- Proficient in Heidenhain controls; additional experience with Fanuc controls is an advantage.
- Familiar with operating Doosan, Matsuura, and Mazak machines.
- Able to produce parts to tight tolerances, around 20?m.
- Experience milling large parts (up to 2.5m).
Salary & Benefits
- Competitive hourly rate of up to £21 per hour.
- Full-time role (39 hours per week).
