We are now looking for an Electrical Engineer to join us on a full-time, permanent basis at either our Washington or Leeds offices.

The Role
As an Electrical Engineer, you will be involved in the design elements of innovative energy efficiency projects across England.
Working with Senior and Lead Engineers for project delivery, you will provide high-quality design and technical solutions that are aligned with industry best practice, whilst also taking ownership of single-discipline projects.
You will be involved in designing electrical systems and producing design data for low-carbon technologies, including GSHP, ASHP, district heating systems, and solar PV.
Additionally, you will:
- Produce design data and sizing calculations for low-carbon technologies (GSHP, ASHP, Solar PV)
- Design electrical systems from concept to detailed design, including low-voltage distribution, lighting, and BMS controls
- Conduct site surveys and produce technical reports
- Engage with DNOs for connection applications
- Carry out electrical calculations and produce schematics using AutoCAD LT, Revit, and Trimble (Amtech)
- Ensure quality and timely delivery within engineering projects
About You
To be considered as an Electrical Engineer, you will need:
- Experience in the electrical engineering or energy industry
- Proven experience in electrical power distribution design
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Trimble (Amtech) software for electrical cable calculations
- Familiarity with Revit software for design work
- Strong problem-solving, planning, and organisational skills
- At a minimum, to be working towards becoming an Incorporated Engineer (IEng) with IET or CIBSE
- An engineering degree in Electrical Engineering or Building Services
