Overview

We are looking for a reliable and hard-working Energy Prep Operative to join a busy waste processing and recycling environment in the Burton-on-Trent area. This is a hands-on role working within the Energy Prep area, supporting the management of waste streams, skips, and general site cleanliness to ensure safe and efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities

• ?? Sorting and preparing waste materials within the Energy Prep area
• ?? Handling general waste, recyclable materials, and skip management
• ??? Loading and unloading skips, ensuring materials are placed correctly
• ?? Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
• �?? Supporting site operatives and supervisors with general labouring duties
• ??? Carrying out basic manual tasks such as lifting, carrying, sweeping, and clearing waste
• ?? Assisting with the movement of materials across the site when required
• ?? Following all health & safety procedures at all times

Requirements

• ?? Previous experience in waste management, recycling, labouring, or industrial work (preferred but not essential)
• ?? Proactive and able to work independently or as part of a team
• ????? Strong awareness of health & safety
• ?? Reliable, punctual, and happy working early shifts

Hours & Pay

• Monday - Friday
• 6:00am to 2:00pm
• Full-time, ongoing role
