Finance Assistant

To work in the finance team, across the Management Accounts, Financial Accounts and AP/AR teams to provide timely and accurate data, journals and reconciliations to support in the smooth and accurate running of the finance department.  

Finance Assistant  Requirements:
You will assist with financial accounts and cash management, including weekly updates to cashflow documents for actual performance and forecast revenues. You will work closely with the Financial Accountant to set up annual cashflow documents, maintain fixed asset registers, support in the preparation of the Annual Financial Statements and assist in the year end audit process. 
The role will support management accounts with month end accounting, rent and water accruals, weighbridge-related accruals, stock process management, revenue accruals and analysis, credit card accruals, and monthly balance sheet reconciliations.

Additionally, you will assist with various finance, accounts payable or /accounts receivable tasks as required, such as processing invoices, chasing cash collection, reporting and other ad hoc tasks.

Location:             Milton Parc, Milton Ernest, Bedfordshire, MK44 1YU
Job Type:            Full Time, 40  hours per week Monday – Friday 8:30 – 17:00pm. Hybrid working available  
Salary:                 Between £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, dependent on experience
