A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Horticulturalist / Glasshouse Technician to join a pioneering AgriTech company based at a leading research centre in Yorkshire.

This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside a highly skilled team of scientists at the forefront of herbicide research. The role combines hands-on plant care with scientific support, helping to grow and maintain plants, monitor pests and diseases, and collect and record experimental data. The successful candidate will support in the day-to-day operations of the glasshouse, ensuring trials run smoothly and HSE standards are met.

What’s Required of the Horticulturalist?

• Previous experience working in glasshouse or controlled environment facilities; field experience is a plus
• Experience working with plants, including propagation, cultivation, and maintenance
• Understanding of experimental design and data collection
• Basic knowledge of pest and disease monitoring and control
• Relevant certifications (e.g., PA1 or PA6) are desirable but not essential
