We’re partnered with a Life Sciences organization based in Central London, supporting critical research, laboratory operations, and corporate teams. They’re now looking for a strong 2nd Line Engineer with MSP experience to support a growing, highly technical user base in a regulated, fast-paced environment.

This role goes beyond standard IT support. You’ll be working in an environment where system reliability, data integrity, and security are business-critical, supporting scientists, researchers, and operational teams who rely on technology to deliver real-world outcomes. You’ll gain exposure to enterprise-grade infrastructure, cloud platforms, and security-focused systems while working closely with senior IT and infrastructure specialists.

Required Skills:

• Proven experience in a 2nd Line role within an MSP (essential)
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory & Microsoft 365
• Confident troubleshooting across DNS, DHCP, networking, VPNs & firewalls
• Experience supporting multiple users, offices, or regulated environments
• Exposure to Azure, cloud platforms, virtualization (Hyper-V / VMware)
• Clear, professional communication skills with technical and non-technical users
• A dependable, detail-driven approach suited to a regulated industry
