Description

• Sample reception and registration
• Record keeping and quality control
• Preparation of kits for in-house tests
• DNA extraction from various biological materials (blood, buccal cells, saliva)
• Inventory management and procurement of reagents and consumables
• Preparation of SAT (Sperm Aneuploidy Test) samples
• Performing PCR and minisequencing (wet lab)
• Conducting Next Generation Sequencing using the Life Technologies platform (wet lab)
• Performing Karyomapping (wet lab)

Profile

A successful Lab Technician should have:

• A degree or relevant qualification in life sciences or a related field.
• Previous experience in a laboratory setting within the life science industry.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow protocols accurately.
• Proficiency in maintaining and handling laboratory equipment.
• A collaborative mindset and excellent organisational skills.
