Main purpose of job:
Due to continued success and growth, we are looking to a Lab Analyst Assistant to join our team.

Your responsibilities will include:
* To provide analytical support for a wide variety of internal and external customers.
* To assist in the operation of process plant, should the need arise, to ensure continuous operation of site processes whilst at the same time working to the highest health & safety and housekeeping standards.
* Sampling & testing a range of waste materials.
* Quality Assurance & Control.
* Liaise directly with Site Chemist, Technical Radiation Manager, Environmental Waste Manager and Site Manager.
* Carry out any necessary chemical analysis required by the business e.g. Gamma Spectroscopy, hydrocarbon content analysis, monitoring of air, soil and site effluent quality.

Do you have what it takes?

* Computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook.
* Attention to detail and good organisational skills.
* Team working skills.
* Excellent interpersonal skills.
* Previous laboratory experience, particularly in respect of Radiological experience and COSHH
