Job Description
- Job Title: Laboratory Sample Technician
- Job Type: Permanent
- Location: Ellesmere Port
- Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday- Friday
- Salary: £23,400
- Industry: Oil and Gas
We are looking for a detail-oriented Sample Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the storage, receipt, and distribution of samples to support laboratory operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, catalog, and store samples in accordance with company procedures.
- Ensure accurate labeling and tracking of all samples.
- Maintain inventory records and manage sample disposal as required.
- Collaborate with laboratory staff to ensure timely delivery of samples for testing.
- Follow health, safety, and quality standards to maintain compliance with regulations.
Qualifications
- Experience in a sample handling or warehouse role is beneficial but not essential; training will be provided.
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
