On behalf of this leading chemical business, we are looking for a Laboratory Technician to join their friendly and dynamic Quality Control Laboratory based in Middlesbrough.

ABOUT THE LABORATORY TECHNICIAN ROLE…
Reporting to the Laboratory Manager, your duties will include:
- Analysis of raw materials and finished products
- Maintaining and calibration of Laboratory Equipment
- Completion of analytical records in accordance with company procedures
- Cover for colleagues during holiday/sickness periods. Undertake as necessary any other relevant and associated tasks or projects.
ABOUT YOU…
Must have:
- Chemistry or closely related science degree.
- Effective team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Self-motivated, enthusiastic with a “can-do” attitude.
Nice to have:
- Laboratory experience.
- Ability to plan and prioritise workload, work under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Good level of knowledge of Microsoft packages especially Excel and Word.
