Salary: £31,000.00-£32,662.51 per year

• Working within a laboratory environment that directly supports production, you will be responsible for the preparation, testing, and analysis of samples, ensuring accuracy, reliability, and compliance with strict regulatory and safety requirements.
• This position requires a strong awareness of working within a high-hazard industrial environment, with a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of health, safety, and environmental performance.
Key Responsibilities
• Management of the analysis and testing equipment (maintenance, repairs and calibration).
• Testing/analysis and reporting on raw materials, intermediates and products from site.
• Ensure that analysis is carried out and results reported in correct manner.
• Ensure cleanliness/ hygiene level of the lab is maintained at all times.
• Responsible for control of waste chemicals from the lab
• Excellent organisational skills with high attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).
The ideal candidate will have:
• A degree in Chemistry, or a related scientific discipline (or equivalent)
• Previous experience within an industrial laboratory
• Excellent organisational skills with high attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Flexibility with Shifts inc. Overtime
