?? Salary: £28,567.50 per annum (£14.64/hour) + 22% Shift Allowance
?? Shift Pattern: Double Days (7am-3pm & 3pm-11pm)

We're on the lookout for a Lead Formulation Technician to join our fast-paced, high-impact manufacturing team in Swindon. In this dynamic position, you'll take the lead in preparing, formulating, filling, inspecting, and packaging life-saving sterile and non-sterile products - all within a cutting-edge, GMP-compliant environment.

?? What You'll Be Doing:

Take the lead in operating and setting up advanced formulation, filling, inspection, and packaging equipment.

Manufacture high-quality pharmaceutical products in strict accordance with GMP, SOPs, and BMRs.

Perform key routine tasks like line clearance, in-process checks (IPCs), and accurate batch documentation.

Keep production running smoothly by supporting efficient machine changeovers, cleaning, and testing.

Carry out Clean In Place (CIP) and Steam In Place (SIP) operations using high-tech HMI-controlled systems.

Maintain sterile conditions using autoclaves, airlocks, and automated cleaning systems.

Support validation processes and contribute to the launch of exciting new products.

Accurately complete SAP transactions and maintain meticulous GMP records.
?? Leadership That Makes a Difference:

Organise daily cleanroom activities to hit production targets and timelines.

Ensure machinery and processes are always ready to go - and escalate issues when they're not.

Lead by example in upholding the highest standards of safety, quality, and teamwork.

Step in with guidance, mentorship, and hands-on support - especially when the Production Coordinator is unavailable.

Drive continuous improvement by monitoring downtime, spotting trends, and suggesting smarter ways to work.
?? What We're Looking For:

Proven experience in a GMP-regulated pharmaceutical or life sciences environment.

Understanding of cleanroom operations and aseptic manufacturing (a big plus).

Scientific background (A-levels or equivalent in science-based subjects).

Previous supervisory or team leadership experience is highly desirable.

Strong communicator with top-notch organisational skills.

Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles (Green Belt a bonus).

Confident with HMI-controlled systems and SAP.

Aseptic block licence? Even better.
