Location: Edgbaston Birmingham
Contract Type: Temporary (until 30/09/2026)
Hourly Rate: £13.53
Working Pattern: Full Time (Mon - Fri, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM)

Key Responsibilities:

As a Manufacturing Technician, you will:

• Assist in the manufacturing and testing of medical devices to ensure top-notch quality.
• Maintain and calibrate essential equipment for optimal performance.
• Accurately complete records and worksheets to keep our processes running smoothly.
• Utilise our ERP system for effective work tracking and document management.
• Report progress and any issues promptly to keep the team informed.
• Collaborate with colleagues to plan tasks effectively and meet delivery goals.
• Adhere to health and safety procedures, ensuring a safe working environment.
• Ensure all work meets our high company standards and regulations.

Who We're Looking For:

Essential Skills and Experience:

• Minimum of 1 year relevant experience in a laboratory or manufacturing environment.
• GCSEs in Maths, English, and Science.
• Basic computer skills and digital literacy, including knowledge of MS Office applications.
• Excellent time management and communication skills.

Desirable Qualifications:

• A degree or A Levels in a relevant subject.
• Previous lab experience and familiarity with Health & Safety and Quality Systems.

Personal Qualities:

• A friendly, positive attitude with a commitment to reliability and organisation.
• Self-motivated and flexible, willing to work overtime if needed.
• Ability to lift objects up to 20 kilogrammes and follow standard operating procedures (SOPs).
