Join Our Client's Team as an Operations Assistant - Repack!

Are you ready to take your career to the next level? Our client in Heysham is on the lookout for a dedicated Operations Assistant to join their Repack Department on a temporary basis. If you are detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and have basic IT skills, this is your chance to shine!

What You'll Do:

As an Operations Assistant, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the Repack Department. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Safety First: Handle sealed chemicals of various hazard classes while adhering to strict safety procedures.
  • Chemical Handling: Safely manage open source chemicals after completing necessary training, using fume cupboards.
  • Accuracy Matters: Complete and check job sheets meticulously, ensuring all catalogue numbers, quantities, SKUs, lot numbers, and locations are correct.
  • Transport & Label: Move finished goods to various stores using manual transport trolleys and label them accurately.
  • Housekeeping & Stock Control: Maintain daily housekeeping tasks and manage stock control to ensure everything is in order.
  • Digital Proficiency: Navigate emails, Microsoft Teams, and utilise an ERP system effectively.

What We Offer:

  • A competitive hourly rate of £12.65
  • Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm
