Optical Cleaning & Inspection Technician

We are recruiting an Optical Cleaning & Inspection Technician at our established optical coating facility in Dundee.

Duties include:

• Unpacking and wrapping of optical components
• Inspecting optics for quality defects
• Cleaning optics to enhance quality
• Operating computers and logging data
• Operating automated cleaning machines
• Carefully handling high volumes of both small and large optical components

Requirements:

• Good manual dexterity for picking up/placing down optics
• Good attention to detail
• Ability to follow work instructions
• Good eyesight to identify small defects
• Growth mindset
• Teamworking
