Our client is a leading manufacturing company based in Newcastle under Lyme. They are seeking a Powder Coating Operative to join their team on a temp-to-perm contract.  This role will be to ensure that all components receive a powder coating finish to meet company standards and production targets, and adhere to Health & safety standards.
 
Job Description for the Powder Coating Operative role:

• Powder coating of products with close attention to the correct colour and thickness
• Work towards agreed output targets and deadlines
• Visually and mechanically check finished items for flaws and proper coverage, and refinish and touch up as required
• Help ensure that all outputs are “Right First Time”
• Maintain a safe, clean, and tidy working environment
• Clean down electrostatic spray guns
• Report faults to the Powder Coating Team Leader, Supervisor, and Maintenance Team
• Practice problem-solving and troubleshooting techniques as part of a team responsible for realising continuous improvement to products and processes
• Mixing and handling Powder
• Quality Control and Inspection

Hours: Monday - Thursday 7:00 am - 4:00 pm & Friday 7:00 am - 1:00 pm
Salary: £12.60 Per Hour
