Production Operative

£24,791 p/a, Permanent, Uckfield, Monday - Friday 7:45am - 4:15pm / 3:15pm finish on a Friday, Free parking, Training and development, PPE supplied, Christmas shutdown, increasing annual leave, occasional overtime available.

We are delighted to be working with our established and longstanding client who are seeking a Production Operative to join their new production line. This is a great opportunity for experienced individuals looking for a manufacturing position in a busy working environment.

• Measure liquids and raw materials, mixing in line with production instructions and pouring into moulds
• Quality check all finished products once set, to ensure consistency across the range
• Monitor and maintain all production equipment reporting any issues to a manager
• Some basic computer terminal work
• Complete all relevant documentation and ensure products comply with marking and tagging requirements

The suitable candidate will offer experience in an production-based role and be confident using chemicals. You will need to demonstrate good dexterity skills, be physically fit with good stamina and be comfortable standing throughout the shift. Jobholders must be reliable, hardworking, and flexible, with a problem-solving approach to work. You will be a team player, and have come from a similar working environment as a factory operative or production operative.

The Package

• Permanent position to begin immediately
• Salary of £24,791 p/a
• Increased annual leave up to 32 days per annum with continued service
• Uckfield with free parking
• Monday to Friday, 7:45am - 4:15pm (3:15pm finish on a Friday)
• PPE supplied
• Christmas shutdown
