The Role

You will support teachers by preparing practical resources, maintaining laboratory spaces, and ensuring all equipment and materials are ready for use. This role suits candidates with a science background who are keen to work in education.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare materials and equipment for science practicals
• Support lessons across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics
• Maintain laboratories to a high standard
• Manage chemical storage and stock control
• Carry out routine safety and equipment checks
• Assist staff with practical demonstrations
• Adhere to health, safety, and safeguarding requirements

Person Specification

• Degree or qualification in a science-related subject preferred
• Previous laboratory or school-based experience advantageous
• Strong organisational and time-management skills
• High attention to safety and detail
• Right to work in the UK
• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain)

Working Hours

• Full-time role
• Monday to Friday, standard school hours
