Job Title: Electronics Production Operator - SMT Assembly

Location: Guildford

Duration: 3 months initially

Start Date: ASAP

Rate: £16.51 PAYE

Are you detail-oriented, hands-on, and passionate about electronics manufacturing? We're looking for a skilled Production Operator to join our Surface Mount Technology (SMT) team. You'll play a key role in building high-quality electronic products used in cutting-edge industries.

What You'll Do:

• Set up and operate SMT machinery on the production line

• Monitor product quality using Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) systems

• Occasionally support other areas, including conformal coating and selective soldering

• Assist with quality checks and visual inspections

• Contribute ideas to improve quality, efficiency, and processes

What You'll Need:

• Previous experience in electronics manufacturing or SMT assembly

• Hands-on knowledge of surface mount processes

• Experience with ASM/Siemens Siplace equipment is a plus

• Familiarity with IPC standards (Class 3) is desirable, but not essential
