Trainee Recruitment Consultant

The Role

This opportunity is suited to commercially minded individuals who want to build a long-term career in recruitment and sales. You’ll join a specialist recruitment team supporting organisations within the life sciences sector. From day one, you’ll be encouraged to think commercially, build relationships, and contribute directly to revenue — all within a high-performance, team-focused culture.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Proactively identifying and engaging candidates and clients through calls, outreach, and networking
  • Building and managing a recruitment and sales pipeline
  • Developing relationships with new and existing clients
  • Conducting candidate screening calls and interviews
  • Supporting the full recruitment process from initial brief to placement
  • Learning sales, negotiation, and deal-closing techniques
  • Working towards individual and team targets in a results-driven environment

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience in sales, business development, recruitment, account management, or a target-driven role
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • A commercial mindset with a desire to succeed
  • Resilience, drive, and motivation to exceed targets
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, performance-led culture
  • Interest in recruitment, sales, or the life sciences sector (desirable but not essential)
