Based in Avonmouth, Bristol. UK - Plant-Ex ingredients in an international company specialising in the manufacture of Natural Food Ingredient Solutions, supplying across the globe either directly through our own facilities or through a number of selected distribution partners.

We specialise in spray drying food colourings and flavours as well as production of liquid food colours, flavours and extracts.

We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Health and Hygiene Operative!

Reporting into the Logistics Manager, the Health and Hygiene Operative will be responsible for the following duties:

· Cleaning of factory and warehouse floor, and machinery

· Ensuring correct cleaning procedures are followed

· Replenishing of work uniforms into staff lockers

· Ensuring dirty workwear is available for weekly collection

· Ensuring the yard/car park is clean and tidy

· Ensuring warehouses are clean and clutter free

· Cleaning of tanks and vessels

· Cleaning of IBC’s to be returned to suppliers

· Cleaning of machine framework

· Cleaning of open drains within factory area

· Maintaining the daily/weekly and monthly cleaning schedule

· Assistance with cleaning of product spillages (powders and liquids)

· Ensuring waste water is treated and released into drainage in accordance to agreement with water sanitation

· Ensuring cleaning chemicals are correctly stored and stocked

· Ensuring rubbish is put in the skips and not piled up in the warehouse

· Replenishing of bulk cleaning solutions

This is a 40 hour per week position, working 8:00-16:30, Monday to Friday.
