Warehouse Operative

Role Overview:
The Warehouse Operative plays a key role within the Production Department, primarily responsible for packing goods for shipment. This position reports directly to the Production Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pack goods for shipment in line with company standards.
- Maintain and apply FIFO (First In, First Out) stock system.
- Perform manual handling tasks in accordance with safety procedures.
- Manage stock using Bill of Materials.
- Liaise with Sales and Operations Planning team to prioritize daily packaging.
- Enter product movement data into ERP and CRM systems.
- Generate packing slips using ERP software.
- Pack goods to minimize shipping costs and prevent damage, following specifications.
- Ensure compliance with shipping regulations and company requirements.
- Conduct final inspections of goods before packing.
- Monitor and reorder packaging materials as needed.
- Keep the shipment area tidy and organized.
- Adhere to health and safety policies.
- Participate in regular training to maintain compliance.
- Support other areas as needed, such as goods receiving, production kitting, and stock counts.
