Role Overview:

The Warehouse Operative plays a key role within the Production Department, primarily responsible for packing goods for shipment. This position reports directly to the Production Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

• Pack goods for shipment in line with company standards.
• Maintain and apply FIFO (First In, First Out) stock system.
• Perform manual handling tasks in accordance with safety procedures.
• Manage stock using Bill of Materials.
• Liaise with Sales and Operations Planning team to prioritize daily packaging.
• Enter product movement data into ERP and CRM systems.
• Generate packing slips using ERP software.
• Pack goods to minimize shipping costs and prevent damage, following specifications.
• Ensure compliance with shipping regulations and company requirements.
• Conduct final inspections of goods before packing.
• Monitor and reorder packaging materials as needed.
• Keep the shipment area tidy and organized.
• Adhere to health and safety policies.
• Participate in regular training to maintain compliance.
• Support other areas as needed, such as goods receiving, production kitting, and stock counts.
