Research Scientist - Device Fabrication
A growing scientific technology and innovation house based in Cambridge are in the process of expansion and are hiring for a research scientist to join the team.
As a research scientist, you will be charged with accelerating the development of the next generation electro-optical devices. This will include working within a multidisciplinary team of scientists and engineers to maximise the performance of new technologies, specifically working on inks, coatings, and the assembling of electronics.
Some other key parts to the role will include;
- In collaboration with the team, you will devise, implement and evaluate novel experimental methodologies and equipment to assess material and device properties.
- Plan and perform novel experimentation in collaboration with the team, or independently if the method is established.
- Support with the analysis of results and pro-actively contribute to ensure strong analysis and interpretation of experimental data.
This research role is perfect for either a new graduate or for a scientist who has a few years' worth of experience on device fabrication. At first, this will be on a two-year fixed term contract basis.

To be considered for this role we are looking for a recent grad or junior scientist with a background in either physics, materials science or chemistry, with some form of experience in a lab environment, ideally with the fabrication of electronic devices.
