Job Title: Mobile Water Treatment Technician
Location : Tunbridge Wells, Kent
Salary: £34,000
A leading facilities maintenance company is looking for an experienced Water Hygiene Technician for a critical site in Salisbury. You will be based at the large static to carry out pre planned and reactive maintenance duties in water tanks.
This is a Monday to Friday position working 8am to 5pm, there will be an on call rota you will need to participate in and will receive a standby rate plus overtime rate for any call outs.
Qualifications:
- L8 / Legionella Awareness
Duties / Responsibilities:
- Conducting water testing and monitoring
- Monitor and sample various water treatment tasks
- Testing / Servicing thermostatic mixing valves
- Monitoring hot and cold water tanks
- Carry out disinfection works when required
- Familiar with chemical and non-chemical water treatment
Requirements:
- Part 1 - The control of legionella bacteria in evaporative cooling systems qualification (essential)
- Part 2 The control of Legionella bacteria in hot and cold water systems qualification (essential)
- Part 3 - The control of Legionella bacteria in other risk systems qualification (essential)
- Experience working within a similar commercial environment (2 years minimum)
- Able to pass security clearance
