As a Cleaning Assistant, you’ll be enthusiastic and hard-working with a real attention to detail as you’ll be responsible for the day-to-day cleaning of the library.  Adhering to Health and Safety requirements and regulations is crucial, so you’ll need to be hard-working and conscientious to carry out all duties to meet our high customer care standard.

Ideally, you’ll have experience of cleaning in a busy working environment with good customer care skills and knowledge of COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health). If you don’t yet have it, we’ll provide full training on how to use appropriate machinery and chemicals

What you’ll do:

• Day-to-day cleaning and maintenance of the library

• Adhering to Health and Safety requirements and regulations.

• Clean, restock, and supply designated areas.

What you need:

• A can-do attitude.

• Knowledge of Health and Safety and COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health).

• Conscientious and committed attitude.

• Ability to carry out all duties to meet our high customer care standard.

• This is a part time permanent position. Hours of work will be negotiated with you in line with the needs of the service; flexible working may be possible. Working from home is not possible in this role.
